Visited Pen Ponds Cafe, nestled amidst the serene Richmond Park. It's a quaint spot, with a kiosk setup and a few open tables. The menu, although limited, felt a tad pricey for the options available. Yet, the Bacon Bap was a tasty delight - a savory treat after a long walk. The place was bustling, a bit crowded with people sharing tables, but the ambiance remained inviting. Being amidst the park's beauty made the experience better. The staff were super friendly, adding warmth to the overall experience. In summary, despite the limited menu and slightly higher prices, the pleasant atmosphere and delicious Bacon Bap make it a decent spot to unwind after a stroll in Richmond Park.

You’re on a long and lovely walk in the park and suddenly you’re sitting down to have a nice coffee. It’s so cute and I love going there during my walks.

Lovely new kiosk and more refreshments on offer than previously, but quite pricey. Super bacon baps, but the coffee is a lot weaker than previously. Staff could be friendlier.

I have been going there every week since last 5 years for a coffee and cake after cycling. Since refurb, management decided to stop selling cakes in the morning, I don’t get it and sadly have to stop going there unless management listen. Update: Management listen and acted so i am updating my rating for the cafe.

Its actually a kiosk, not a cafe, so there is no covered seating. The bacon bap is simply to die for. And the latte is very good.

Lovely setting, but service has always been a bit of a disappointment. Staff seem loathed to be there. If you after the best toasted sandwiches - heads to the Isabella Plantation Cafe instead.

Great spot for a coffee and making friends with the locals. Go midweek to avoid queues as it’s very popular at weekends, especially when the sun is shining. Or go when it’s raining like I do!
